Patrick Barron - Atlanta Blog

Hey guys, I read the blog about Urban Hiking. It was about a hiking group that walks around parts of Atlanta, mainly those that are not usually seen by tourists or residents. The blogger, Eli Dickerson seems to like the outdoors and wants to share his experiences with the rest of Atlanta. He does this by hiking in areas in or around the Atlanta area and blogging about it. He wants the residents of Atlanta to have a greater sense of the city they live in and to go out themselves and explore it. By doing this I think he wants to try to get more of a community feeling throughout not only his hiking group, but also throughout the Atlanta area. By creating more of a community feeling about Atlanta, maybe the effects of sprawl will be felt less.
